Petter Solberg is one of the most charismatic and popular drivers in the rally WRC. Petter Solberg was born on November 18, 1974 in the town Spideberg, Norway. He began his racing career when he was only eight years old. Solberg drove through the fields, scattered around the farm of his parents, near Oslo. His father was a circuit racer, and the early years of Petter and his brother Henning inherited affection for cars and motorsports. When Petter was only 11 years old, he helped his father repair and assemble racing cars.
