FAS has investigated the situation with traffic jams on the Leningrad highway and concluded that the traffic restriction was justified. Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia began its review of the situation in the 24 km of the Leningrad highway after her turned CEO of the airport "Sheremetyevo" Mikhail Vasilenko with a complaint against the Moscow government. FAS called to account the Ministry of Transport of Russia, Federal Service for Transport Supervision, the Federal Road Agency and the Government of Moscow and Moscow region. Under the law, traffic restrictions during the repairs should be carried out in consultation with the Inspectorate. And if on the road have defects that threaten the safety of traffic, the road should be blocked immediately.
