History of Honda

Soichiro Honda started Honda Motor Company in Hamamatsu, Japan. He began supplying the Japanese market are simple and economical means of transportation, which in this period so desperately needy countries. At the core of his work lay a huge personal interest in the internal combustion engine and a desire to work. Using a small, left over from the war engines, Honda Motor Company began its existence with a production bike with a motor. Soon after its introduction, Honda Motor Company began to design and build their own engines and motorcycles. At the time, it became apparent that the company will become creative and innovative force in the automotive industry. Even then, establishing himself in the Japanese reputation for quality, good operating characteristics and reliability, Honda motorcycles still have not earned respect and credibility on a global scale. However, the situation changed in 1959 when Honda received international recognition after winning over many well-known European manufacturers of motorcycles in the largest and most prestigious international competitions. Along with this recognition of the Honda brand has become a symbol of high quality and exceptional performance. Sales volumes of Honda motorcycles in the world immediately reflected earned a reputation for great difficulty and at an early date was a figure greater than the sale of any other European or American motorcycle manufacturers. In other words, Honda became the world's number one! Aiming to strengthen its role in the automotive industry, adhering to the fundamental philosophy, Honda introduced the first car in 1960. The first cars were little sports cars, as well as motorcycles, which the company released earlier, gained an excellent reputation for quality and performance. In 1966, Honda began production of small sedans and four years later began exporting its first cars, Honda 600, in various countries around the world. While these cars are paving the way for cars with the Honda brand, the company's engineers started to develop another small car designed for the world market fuel-efficient cars. The result of years of development became the Honda Civic, submitted by the public in 1973 and immediately adopted by customers worldwide. Ever since Honda first began manufacturing cars, the company continues to supply the world market a whole range of vehicles with low fuel consumption. At the heart of every car created by Honda, the principle of the need to create a clean machine, save energy and resources while meeting all customer needs. Since its inception, Honda Motor Company has developed a phenomenal rate and has become a leading company with a reputation in the manufacture of vehicles. A similar rise to the heights of international fame was made possible due to many factors, but one of the most obvious reason is the holistic approach to the development of Honda technology. For a company Honda - Technology (engineering) - that's all. This means that much more important to identify and anticipate the needs of customers and society - and even offer new technology to meet these needs than to offer the products created by existing technologies. Honda has had success not only because of its inherent passion for emerging technologies and the desire to try to do something that nobody does, but also because the Honda is a very vibrant company, which is inherent in the spirit of healthy rivalry. And it includes both individual competition and cooperation and joint efforts in the team. The success of Honda employees of the company is recognized throughout the world. However, one of the awards should be allocated specifically - the inclusion in the Automotive Hall of Fame in Minlande, Michigan. Mr. Honda, and this time is a pioneer - the first of the Japanese won this prestigious award. At the awards ceremony on Oct. 10, 1989, Mr. Honda said: "It's like a fairy tale. I'm so happy that I can add this new page in my life. "
