From the Editor. We do not usually write about motorsports. But this team is so interesting and original, that we decided to give it some attention in the pages of our portal. The more so because motorcycling and motor racing - twin brothers. In late 2008, the Russian team Yakhnich Motorsport has announced a competition for the selection of candidates for the junior team. Such a contest is held for the first time not only in the team, but in general in the Russian motorsport. The main objective of the competition - to prepare pilots to change the team Hope Yakhnich and Natalia Lyubimov, who have achieved success in both Russian and international competitions. Bidders may be a girl between the ages of 14 to 18 years, residents of the Russian Federation, fill in the form of the established sample and corresponding initial criteria of the competition. Winner will be offered long-term (3 years) contract with the team Yakhnich Motorsport as a pilot junior staff. Yakhnich Motorsport - the first Russian women's team for the highway-ring motorcycle racing (SHKMG). Currently the team consists of two girls, who convincingly won by finishing 1 st and 2 nd place, virtually all stages of the championship of Russia in 2008. Already a year the team participates in races in Europe, and it is the first and only case of the participation of Russian athletes in international competitions in motorsports. In the second stage the European Championships in Assen this year the girls won the 11 th and 12 th places. The initial stage (in absentia) will be held on February 23, 2009. This phase will be collected form a standard pattern, the selection will be participating in the formal criteria. Intramural qualifying round kicks off on March 1 and ends March 25, 2009. It involves a personal interview with the participating phases, identifying the level of training, assessment of general physical condition, personal qualities. Contestants will demonstrate their ability to manage a mini-motorcycle. This phase will take place in Moscow on kartodrome. And finally, the final stage will take place from April 1 to April 30, 2009. The final group of five girls will go on a European track for test rides under the guidance of head coach Claudio Corsetti.
